Information We Collect

We collect account information you provide, including your email address and password. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not as plain text.

You may also provide an optional profile picture. The app stores the uploaded image and a hash used to load it.

When you create or join games, we store gameplay information such as game names, invitations, nicknames, role preferences, role assignments, readiness, votes, targets, messages, notes, taglines, emoji choices, payment entries, and game history.

The app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. It may store interface preferences and game-view state in your browser, such as dashboard filters, list page numbers, play action logs, and participant ordering.

How We Use Information

We use your information to create and secure your account, keep you signed in, operate games, show the correct game state to players, manage profile pictures, record payment entries, and troubleshoot or protect the app.

What Other Players Can See

Other players in a game may see gameplay information needed to play, including nicknames, profile pictures, visible roles, actions, messages, payment entries for that game, and game results. Private notes and hidden role information are only shown according to the rules and permissions built into the app.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run the app, comply with law, protect the service, or make information visible to other players as described in this policy.

Your Choices

You can update your profile picture from the account dialog and edit certain game information while the app allows it. You can clear local browser storage through your browser settings, but doing so may reset saved filters and view preferences.

Security and Retention

We use access controls, session cookies marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and password hashing to help protect account information. No system can guarantee perfect security.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain game history, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account or use the app if you are under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
